Good Night Moon 2 Hour Workshop

Start the fall off with some self care.
This 2 hour restorative workshop is centered around body awareness, breathwork, ball rolling and facial release. We will use various props to release tension from the body in a way that will leave you feeling like you've just had a deep tissue massage.
Bring a banket and be prepared to get tucked in for the night!

Did you know that we take around 20,000 breaths per day and for the most part we do this without a lot of consciousness. How we breathe tells a story about how we move, our moods and emotions and how we carry ourselves through the world to name a few.
In this 90 minute breathing workshop we will explore the anatomy and function of the main breathing muscle, The Diaphragm, as well as learning and embodying breathing techniques to improve our breathing and bring more daily consciousness to this integral system that keeps us alive .
In learning how our own individual breathing patterns impact us, and using tools such as imagery and props, we can improve our movement and even our increase our overall energy!

The pelvic floor is a dynamic structure that needs to be both dynamic and mobile as well as strong and flexible.
In this workshop, you will learn tools and exercises to deepen your embodiment, and improve the function of your pelvic floor.

The feet are our foundation. They carry us through the world and are our body’s first interface with the ground beneath them.
We have 26 bones and 33 joints in our feet. All of those joints should have some movement.
In this 90 minute workshop you will learn the anatomy of the bones of the foot and how they move in walking and running and how they can best support us in standing.
You will learn how to help improve the natural bone rhythms of the foot through self touch and ball rolling and banded strength exercises.
